Description

The Barefoot Sound MicroSub45 stereo pair is a perfect compliment to the Barefoot MM45 monitors. Dual Force Technology pushes 1000 watts of power through dual 8” subs for a bass response all the way down to 25 Hz.

Since the release of the MicroMain45, Barefoot users have been asking for a subwoofer that complements the sound of the speaker. Since the demand for Barefoot monitors is becoming so high in the pro audio world, it was time to finally put one on the market.

The MicroSub45 is to be paired with the MicroMain45 reference monitors – the combination will add a whole new level of power and depth to your mixes, regardless of the project you’re working on. The MicroMain45 is the only Barefoot speaker without Dual Force Technology, but with the addition of the MicroSub45, you can turn the pair into a full range pair of professional grade reference monitors.

The MicroSub45 is designed to be stacked on top or below the MicroMain45 (depending on user preference). The full stack creates the MicroStack45, which includes six 8” high excursion drivers that work as a single unit. If the MicroSub45 is positioned below the MM45, the Tilt feature can allow the speaker to be pointed down at the listening sweet spot, the extremely sturdy design guarantees no chance of slipping. Similar to the MicroStack12, the MicroStack45 is to be used in stereo.

Each MicroSub45 features a balanced analog high-pass filter and analog signal paths that pass audio through the sub and MM45s. The crossover point is 80Hz and goes all the way down to 25 Hz.
